Me, on Mont Royal, Montréal, Québec
I am a Lecturer in Mathematics in the Department of Economics, Mathematics and Statistics. I am the programme director for MPhil/PhD Mathematics and Statistics and the Gradudate Diploma/Graduate Certificate in Mathematics.
Prior to my current position, I completed a postdoc in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Bristol. Before that, I was a postdoc at the Department of Mathematics at MIT. My host at MIT was Richard Stanley. I received my PhD. from the Department of Combinatorics and Optimization at the University of Waterloo, where I worked under the supervision of Ian Goulden. My area of research is in algebraic and combinatorial enumeration.
More professional details can be found in my CV (slightly out of date).
I was on the organizing committee for FPSAC 2017, which took place in East London, at Queen Mary, University of London from 9-13 July 2017.
FPSAC 2018 will be held at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH, USA on 16-20 July 2018.
My research interests include algebraic and enumerative combinatorics, combinatorial representation theory (especially the symmetric group), and other topics in combinatorics.
Publications and preprints - my publications
In Autumn 2017, I will be teaching Proof and Structure in Mathematics (a full year module).
In Autumn 2017, I will be teaching Representation Theory.
All course material for both modules will be available on Moodle.
